(8) Alto Flute - Values and Prime numbers (the excerpt from the music analysis)
Since the capacity of sustaining the full duration of the pitches, the role of the alto flute is accountable, among several other parameters, to specific note values assigned to the prime numbers. The table here below presents the durations of primes between 2 and 31 applied to the unit of 1/32. The primes vertically listed in retrograde order form 31 to 2, are concerning the number of pitches employed in the score and aligned horizontally in the table by adding their values in music notation, as follows:

The respective vocal and instrumental parts are structured by bars with sub-measures organizing the distribution of the music contents. In concern to prime numbers values between 2 and 31 applied to 1/32 for the alto flute, the last 1/32 of each note value is replaced with one rest of 1/32, or a note continuing the line.
