「ニュー・ノーマル」という常態、垂直線が⽇常というかたまりをとりかこむと、防腐処理された社会とのコントラストは⾼まり、「形式」はかえってあらわになるのではないでしょうか。⼈間的なもののおさえがたい昇華は、もともと⾮依存的な、記号の抗いなのかもしれません。沈殿していた歴史は、一⇔多のパースペクティヴの変換の中で、意識の流れというパターンの専制から放たれて遊動し、過去＝連続性の遺物のようにみえていた⽂化遺産の同⼀性は、過去を必要とする存在の過去へと再帰する水平線においてふたたび受⾁していくでしょう。
『百⼈⼀⾸のための注釈』は、2012年に作曲されて以来そのような機会を探っていましたが、今回の演奏会にむけ2020年に改訂されました。『百⼈⼀⾸』に蒐集された百の詩歌がひとつひとつ、ひとつの作品へとふたたび集められ、それらを嵌めこんでいた短歌という鋳型そのものもコンパイルされる過程、さらに、改訂の過程は褶曲をなし、強度、生成を解除される過程でもあり、現代との対話そのものを続ける力を培ってきた⽇本的な歴史の節度を凝縮する隠喩的な含みとなるかもしれません。
5 – 7 – 5 – 7 – 7というコンパクトなメトリックにもっぱら捧げられたこの作品においてそれに拮抗するのは、⼆項関係に還元できない、3音がそろってはじめてなりたつトリコルドという単一のオブジェクトがオクターブの軛をこえて運動するその軌跡としてのセリーの充溢です。トリコルドの順列組合せによって合成に合成を重ねる連鎖のフラクタル様の形式の中に内容としての音楽がうまれていく場、形式と内容の交錯配列は、見かけの動きの中で、始原の複雑さを「詠む／読む」、儀式の儀式性へと、耳を誘います。それは、時間につらぬかれている⽂化／表出の、自然な変換への呼びかけ、存在論的な瞑想です。⾃然の詩的な神秘は、抽象的な思考をこえ、可感で⼈間的な、もろもろの欲望の共振のコントラストを高めていくでしょう。

Since the "New normal" surrounds everyday experience, the presence of "formality" emerges as an irrepressible need for human sublimation, as an independent sign that resists in contrast with the embalmed society. The identity of a cultural heritage, in transforming the historical perspective of the isomorphism of the One and the Many, re-elaborates the incarnation of the past for a being that needs the past towards new horizons.
Through a similar perspective, Hyakunin Isshu no tame no Chushaku (Comments on 100 Poems by 100 Poets) for Soprano, Baritone, Alto Flute in G, Vibraphone and Piano composed in 2012 and revised in 2020, recollects within a single work the acclaimed Japanese anthology of classic poetry Hyakunin Isshu. The compilation of the 100 poems in the tanka form evokes metaphorical implications condensing the evolution of the Japanese historical integrity remaining in a suspended dialogue with our time.
Hyakunin Isshu no tame no Chushaku is entirely dedicated to the compact metric form of the tanka assigned to 5 separate lines by the pattern: 5 – 7 – 5 – 7 – 7 and employs a serialized system overstepping the range of the octave by using the Trichord: 3 notes considered as a configuration of one same unit. Within concatenations composed by multiple trichords’ permutations, the musical contents’ expression emerges through a kaleidoscopic view: a fractal structure. Such new dynamic arrangement of the form and content invites us to join together for a ritual of primordial complexity: an ontological meditation recalling through time the transformation and transfiguration of cult and cultural expression. The poetic mystery of nature transcends abstract thoughts and elevates the resonance of our sensible and human desires.
