写真家生活40余年。フィルム時代からのサラブレッドの雄姿と、モンタナで捉えた野生馬の輝きを次世代へ。本プロジェクトは、私の長年のアーカイブをデジタル化し、写真集制作へ繋げるための挑戦です。夢の実現へ、ご支援をお願いします

職歴： オリエンタル写真工業株式会社勤務、写真家・東松照明氏の助手、画家・岡本太郎氏のアシスタント、スタジオdavas勤務を経て独立。輸入馬のアテンダントとして現場での馬の管理にも深く携わる。

■自己紹介（人物像と価値観）
40年前、アメリカ・モンタナ州プレーヤーマウンテンで野生馬と出会った時の感動が、今も私の創作の原点です。大学で修めた動物管理学の知見、東松照明氏・岡本太郎氏という巨匠の背中で培った芸術的洞察、そして写真家としてのキャリアのすべてを注ぎ込み、私は馬と対峙してきました。

私にとって馬は、単なる被写体や管理対象ではなく、野生の精神を持つ存在です。現場でアテンダントとして馬の管理に携わり、写真家としてその美と生命力を追求し続けること――この40年、ただ馬と向き合うことだけに己の全てを費やしてきました。来年80歳を迎える今、40年以上追い続けてきたライフワーク『天馬の降り立ったふるさとへ』を写真集として完成させることが、私の最後の大きな夢であり、生涯をかけた写体との対話です。

『なぜ、今皆様のご支援が必要なのか』

撮影は私一人で行います。過去に4回、夏季の入山経験がありますが、モンタナの撮影地は標高2700mの過酷な環境です。BLM（米国土地管理局）の許可を得て入山しますが、夏場でも突然の積雪に見舞われることがあり、一度でも雪が降れば、スタック（立ち往生）のリスクが極めて高く、4WDの大型SUVであっても下山が不可能になる危険と隣り合わせです。

また、私は現在、国民年金受給者として日々の生活を営んでおります。40年の経験を持ち、たった一人でこの極限の撮影に挑むことは可能ですが、この過酷な条件下で撮影を遂行し、納得のいく作品を写真集として世に残すためには、単なる渡航費を超えた、安全確保のための装備、車両、滞在経費が必要です。私の生涯をかけたこのプロジェクトを、経済的な制約を超えて「写真集」という形へと昇華させるために、どうか皆様のお力添えをいただけないでしょうか。

長年追い続けたモンタナの野生馬たちとの対話は、撮影という行為そのものが私にとっての命の記録です。今回の遠征で収めた写真こそが、私の写真家としての40年を物語る新たな一章となります。この旅を成功させ、作品を厳選し、一冊の写真集『天馬が舞い降りたふるさとへ』として皆様のもとへお届けすること。それが、今回のプロジェクトにおける最終的なゴールです。

この集大成を後世に残すための第一歩として、どうか皆様のご支援をお願い申し上げます。

『プロジェクト遂行スケジュール』

2027年8月下旬： 成田国際空港〜ソルトレイクシティ間の往復航空券（帰国便変更可能なオープンチケット）を予約・手配。予定日に成田を出発し、ソルトレイクシティ到着後、4x4レンタカーを手配して近隣モーテルへチェックインする。

翌日： ソルトレイクシティよりビリングス（BLM事務所）へ移動。入山申請および撮影許可手続きを完了させ、現地拠点となるモーテルへ移動する。

翌々日早朝： 4x4にて麓の山小屋へ向けて出発（片道約2.5時間）。到着後、速やかに撮影を開始し、山域にて2泊の車中泊を敢行する。

9月上旬〜下旬： 上記の拠点を軸に、モンタナ・ワイオミング・ユタ州の野生馬生息域を巡回。天候や群れの動向に応じ機動的に展開し、30日間の集中撮影を完遂する。

9月下旬： 撮影完了後、予約済みの帰国便にて帰国する。

2028年1月より： 帰国後、記録データより厳選し画像編集を行う。完成した作品より、順次デジタル写真集（PDF）としてリターンの送付および活動報告を行う。

航空運賃（アメリカン航空 往復）： 400,000円
宿泊費（スーパー8モーテル 25,000円×15泊分）： 375,000円
食費（30日間の滞在食費 5,000円×30日）： 150,000円
車両経費（4x4大型SUV レンタル・保険料 25,000円×30日）： 750,000円
燃料代（遠征中のガソリン代合計）： 100,000円

『想定されるリスクとチャレンジ』

今回はプロダクションファンディング（All in）での挑戦となります。目標金額に達しなかった場合でも、不足する資金は自己資金で補填し、アメリカ・モンタナおよびワイオミングへの渡航・撮影活動、ならびにデジタルフォトブック『天馬が舞い降りたふるさとへ』の制作・完成を実現いたします。ご支援いただいたリターンも必ずお届けしますので、ご安心ください。

本プロジェクトは、モンタナ・ワイオミングの広大なフィールドにおける野生馬の撮影です。自然環境下での活動には以下のリスクが伴うことを、あらかじめご理解ください。

天候および野生環境の変化： 山域の天候は急激に変化します。また、野生馬の群れの移動状況や遭遇確率は自然環境に左右されるため、当初予定していた撮影スケジュールに遅延や変更が生じる可能性があります。

柔軟な対応： 前述の理由により、現地での滞在期間を延長または短縮する必要が生じた場合、オープンチケットの特性を活かし、状況に即した機動的な行程管理で撮影を完遂いたします。

安全管理： 4x4の利用や山域での車中泊等、プロフェッショナルとして安全対策には万全を期しますが、極めて過酷な環境であることを前提として行動いたします。

万が一、大幅な計画変更や不測の事態が発生した場合は、速やかにメールやアップデート記事にて状況を共有いたします。ご支援いただいた皆様と共に、最善の作品を創り上げる所存です。  

また、本プロジェクトは、40年にわたる野生馬撮影の集大成をデジタル写真集として結実させる挑戦です。
写真というものは、撮影・現像・編集という一連のプロセスを経て、初めて一つの作品として完成します。映画や音楽と同様、制作途中の素材を切り取って『これが実物です』と提示することは、作品の本質を損なうばかりか、プロのクリエイターとしては不本意な行為です。

支援者の皆様にお届けするのは、私が現場で感じた野生馬の鼓動、光、そして魂を、完成された一つの写真集として昇華させたものです。私の撮影理念は、この完成された作品の中にこそ存在します。

本プロジェクトの目的は、その制作過程を支援者の方々と共有し、最後には最高の一冊（デジタルフォトブック）をお届けすることにあります。この挑戦の意義と、作品の完成プロセスそのものを理解していただける方と共に、プロジェクトを進めてまいりたいと考えております。

春の息吹が満ちる野に、ただ静かに身を預ける。 色とりどりの花々に抱かれ、馬は微睡みの中で穏やかな調和を享受している。 厳しい自然の規律から束の間の解放。その瞳に宿る柔らかな光は、大地と共に生きる者だけが知る、至福の安らぎを物語っている。

Riding the Winds of Montana

Against the backdrop of a vast expanse, three horses gallop with a graceful, rhythmic stride. The wind tossing their manes is the very breath of the prairie’s life. Within this harmonious motion, there is a coexistence of the pure freedom inherent in wild horses and a quiet, prayer-like strength.

In the place where the earth and sky merge, they simply celebrate life as it is, in its most natural state.

黄金の家路 (The Golden Way Home)

夕陽を背に受け、黄金色に輝く母馬と仔馬が寄り添って歩む一コマ。 二頭を包む柔らかな光は、長い一日を終えて帰路につく安らぎと、親子の深い絆を物語っています。豊かな草花が揺れる草原の中、静かに、しかし確かな足取りで進むその背中には、温かな命のつながりと、明日への静かな希望が満ちています。
