信念へ至る道 vol.1｜久道監督との出会い

皆様、息災でござりますか？
改めて、今作に至る歴史もお話させていただきます。
久道さんに初めて監督していただいた作品が、こちらになります！
幕末のお話で、維新志士の人斬りと新選組がそれぞれの思想の元、
この脚本も私が担当しまして、
なんと台詞は全部英語で挑戦してまして、
元々資料用に作成したので、
もう7年前ですね！
今の阿部道場メンバーはこちらには出演していなく、
初めて監督していただいた時から、柔軟且つ、
『The Road to SHINNEN vol.1』
Meeting Director Narimitsu Hisamichi
This was the first film directed by Mr. Hisamichi.
It is a story set in the late Edo period.
A story of conflict between assassins and the Shinsengumi, each fighting for their own belief.
I also wrote the script.
It is a short story about belief, determination, and conflict.
Actually… we challenged ourselves to do all the lines in English!

This film was originally made as a sample work, so the editing was simple.
But looking back now, this was the beginning of our journey with Director Hisamichi.
That was already 7 years ago.
Our current Abe Dojo members were not in this film yet, but Miharu Chiba, who now plays Karasu, appeared in this work.
From the first time we worked together, I felt Director Hisamichi had great creativity and flexibility.
I thought,
“I want to create more films with this person.”
That feeling led to many productions after that…
and finally to **“SHINNEN – A Samurai’s Creed.”
